Coverage claims are the easiest thing to inflate in this industry and the hardest to verify, so here is our rule: a market appears on this page only if real customer money has settled into it on a live rail in the last 90 days. Not a signed partner agreement, not a roadmap, not a corridor we could open on request.
The distinction that matters more than the country count is rail type. Ten of these markets are African countries where we pay out in local currency to mobile money or a bank account, which is the part banks and most rivals cannot do. The rest are hard-currency bank payouts in pounds, dollars and euros.
Funding is separate from payout. You can fund from anywhere, in stablecoins or by bank transfer. What this page describes is where the money can land.
Eversend pays out to 18 countries. Ten are African markets on local rails: Nigeria, Kenya, Cameroon, Uganda, Ghana, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal. The rest are hard-currency bank payouts, in pounds to the United Kingdom, dollars to the United States, and euros across the euro area. Customers themselves come from 57 countries, which is a different number and often confused with this one.
Sixteen. On the African local rails: naira, Kenyan shillings, Ugandan shillings, Ghanaian cedis, Rwandan francs, Tanzanian shillings, Zambian kwacha, Central African CFA francs and West African CFA francs. Plus pounds, dollars and euros to bank accounts. The rate you convert at is the rate returned on the quote.
Kenya, Uganda and Ghana take both. Cameroon, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal are mobile money only. Nigeria is bank only, over NIP, including fintech accounts like OPay and Moniepoint. There is no mobile money payout rail in Nigeria, and any provider that says otherwise is describing a bank-style account.
