Send Money to Uganda: Fast and Secure Transfers

Now that you know the benefits of using Eversend, and are all geared up to send money, you need to be able to first add  money to your Eversend wallet using these steps hereUpon successfully adding the money, you are now ready to send it out. So let us finally get to the heart of the matter of why we are here today.

How to send money to Uganda

At this point, I assume that you have the Eversend app already installed on your phone. If not get in on Play Store here, and App Store here, and verify your identity using these steps.

Sending to Eversend wallet

Sending to the wallet is the most convenient way to transfer if the beneficiary is also on Eversend. It is also free of charge and is instant.

  1. Click the ‘Send’ Tab
  2. Choose ‘Eversend’ from the options at the top
  3. Choose from your list of beneficiaries if you have sent to them before
  4. If sending to someone new, click the blue plus button in the top, right-hand corner
  5. Select how you would like to add the beneficiary
  6. Click on the beneficiary and choose the amount you would like to send

Sending to mobile money

You can send mobile money to a beneficiary even though he or she is not registered on Eversend. You will encounter a small fee right before you send the money. This will be shown to you before you complete the transaction. 

Here is how you will send mobile money

  1. Click the ‘Send’ Tab
  2. Choose ‘Mobile money’ from the three options at the top
  3. Choose from your list of beneficiaries if you have sent to them before
  4. If sending to someone new, click the blue plus button in the top, right-hand corner
  5. Select how you would like to add the beneficiary
  6. Click on the beneficiary and choose the amount you would like to send

Sending to bank

You can also send it to the beneficiary’s bank account. This also counts when the beneficiary is not registered on Eversend. The fee will also be shown to you before you complete the transaction. 

  1. Tap on the ‘Send’ tab.
  2. Choose option 3, which is labeled ‘bank’.
  3. Tap the ‘+’ symbol to add a beneficiary.
  4. You will be prompted to enter a phone number, country code, and name. Once you have provided this information, click on ‘continue’.
  5. Next, select the phone number you just added to input the bank details.
