Eversend User Guide for people in Kenya

We as Eversend exist with a vision to give financial inclusivity to everyone in the economy where everyone can participate and win. As a result it is only prudent that we provide you with several options to send money across several cities in Africa, from Kampla, all the way to Accra and Lagos. 

Now tuck in, and have your seat belt on, as take you through how to add money, and send it out.

How to add money to your Eversend Wallet

But before we discuss how you can send money, let us discuss how you can add money.

By topping From your  Mpesa

  1. Click the ‘Balance’ tab
  2. Click the plus sign labeled ‘Add money’ on the respective currency wallet. (Note: You cannot add money to a KES wallet using a Ugandan mobile money number.)
  3. Select the amount you want to add and which mobile number you would like to use
  4. We will send a debit request to your default registered number and you will need to verify the numbers by SMS before we top up your wallet

The money should appear instantly in your account. If it does not please contact our team using our in-app chat.

By Topping up Using the FLutterwave link option

  1. Go to your KES  wallet
  2. Tap on the plus button
  3. Tap on the flutterwave link option
  4. Enter the amount you want to add
  5. Click on Pay
  6. Chose the network you would like to use to add through your mobile money

Using their Bank Mastercard.

  1. Click the ‘Balance’ tab
  2. Swipe to your USD wallet and select ‘’Fund”
  3. Click the ‘’Credit/debit card’’ option
  4. Select the option to add your card details
  5. You will be charged $1 automatically to add your card, this will reflect immediately in your Eversend wallet and can be used at any time
  6. You will have to verify your new card with our compliance team to ensure that you are the owner of the card and that it is active. Until it is verified, you will have a $1 limit on your card.
  7. Our compliance team will reach out to you.

To Eversend Wallets of registered users

You can send to the wallets of active Eversend users in the countries of Uganda, Cameroon, Nigeria, Rwanda, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Zambia.

They can even send fellow registered Ghana users through wallet

Here is how you can do that.

  1. Click the ‘Send’ Tab
  2. Choose ‘Eversend’ from the options at the top
  3. Choose from your list of beneficiaries if you have sent to them before
  4. If sending to someone new, click the blue plus button in the top, right-hand corner
  5. Select how you would like to add the beneficiary
  6. Click on the beneficiary and choose the amount you would like to send

To Mobile Money users in Registered users

You can send money to registered mobile money users in countries of Kenya, Uganda, Cameroon,Rwanda, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Tanzania

Here is how you can send 

  1. Click the ‘Send’ Tab
  2. Choose ‘Mobile money’ from the three options at the top
  3. Choose from your list of beneficiaries if you have sent to them before
  4. If sending to someone new, click the blue plus button in the top, right-hand corner
  5. Select how you would like to add the beneficiary
  6. Click on the beneficiary and choose the amount you would like to send

To user’s beneficiary bank Account

Kenyans can also utilize this to send each other money to their bank accounts. You can also send money abroad to an account number of beneficiaries in countries we support. These countries are Nigeria, Uganda, and Kenya.

  1. Tap on the ‘Send’ tab.
  2. Choose option 3, which is labeled ‘bank’.
  3. Tap the ‘+’ symbol to add a beneficiary.
  4. You will be prompted to enter a phone number, country code, and name. Once you have provided this information, click on ‘continue’.
  5. Next, select the phone number you just added to input the bank details.
