Eversend User Guide for people in Ghana

Eversend is a one-stop financial service hub allowing users to exchange, save, manage, and send money at the best possible rates  online.

In such an economy, we recognise the need  for seamless financial services, and that is where Eversend comes in, we provide these services right at your fingertips without looking any further. So right now, we are going to look into how users can use Eversend to the best of their abilities

Step 1

Download the Eversend app from Playstore here, or App Store here

Step 2

Submit one of your valid Government issued IDs for verification. The documents include, National ID, Driving Permit, Passport, and submit a selfie video of yourself to prove your identity. You will receive prompts for this as you do this in the app.

Step 3

Once your Identity is verified you will be able to use any of our services.

 

Adding Money to your account

Now, we shall talk about how you can add money in your Eversend wallet, and then send it out to several African cities like Nairobi, Kampala, Lagos and many more

Using Bank Mastercard

  1. Click the ‘Balance’ tab
  2. Swipe to your USD wallet and select ‘’Fund”
  3. Click the ‘’Credit/debit card’’ option
  4. Select the option to add your card details
  5. You will be charged $1 automatically to add your card, this will reflect immediately in your Eversend wallet and can be used at any time
  6. You will have to verify your new card with our compliance team to ensure that you are the owner of the card and that it is active. Until it is verified, you will have a $1 limit on your card.
  7. Our compliance team will reach out to you.

Using Stable Coins

  1. Log in to your Eversend App and navigate to the “More” tab.
  2. Select “Stablecoins”.
  3. Click “Invest” and Choose your preferred stablecoin – either USDT, USDC, or PYUSD.
  4. Select a transfer network from the options provided only.
  5. Copy and/or share the displayed address.

Use the provided address to receive USDT, USDC, or PYUSD from any external crypto platform.

Once received, the funds will be available in the app, allowing you to convert them into any other available currency of your choice.

 (You can use mobile money to buy stablecoins from platforms that sell/offer stablecoins for example binance).

How to send money

To Eversend Wallets of registered users

You can send to the wallets of active Eversend users in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Cameroon, Nigeria, Rwanda, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Zambia

They can even send fellow registered Ghana users through wallet

Here is how you can do that.

  1. Click the ‘Send’ Tab
  2. Choose ‘Eversend’ from the options at the top
  3. Choose from your list of beneficiaries if you have sent to them before
  4. If sending to someone new, click the blue plus button in the top, right-hand corner
  5. Select how you would like to add the beneficiary
  6. Click on the beneficiary and choose the amount you would like to send

To Mobile Money users in Registered users

You can send money to registered mobile money users to countries in Uganda, Kenya, Cameroon,Rwanda, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Tanzania

Here is how you can send 

  1. Click the ‘Send’ Tab
  2. Choose ‘Mobile money’ from the three options at the top
  3. Choose from your list of beneficiaries if you have sent to them before
  4. If sending to someone new, click the blue plus button in the top, right-hand corner
  5. Select how you would like to add the beneficiary
  6. Click on the beneficiary and choose the amount you would like to send

To user’s beneficiary bank Account

As Ghanaians you can also utilize this to send each other money to your bank accounts. You can also send money abroad to account numbers of beneficiaries in countries which have the bank account option. The countries include Nigeria,Uganda, and kenya

  1. Tap on the ‘Send’ tab.
  2. Choose option 3, which is labeled ‘bank’.
  3. Tap the ‘+’ symbol to add a beneficiary.
  4. You will be prompted to enter a phone number, country code, and name. Once you have provided this information, click on ‘continue’.
  5. Next, select the phone number you just added to input the bank details.
